Privacy & Data

How we handle information submitted through this website and the choices available to you.

This notice explains how information submitted through the Capitol & Commonwealth website is collected, stored, and used. Please share only the information needed for your inquiry.

Information you choose to submit

The inquiry, newsletter, and briefing forms collect the fields you complete. Depending on the form, these may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, topic of interest, organization, role, state, service interests, newsletter preferences, and message. Required fields are marked. Optional interest in future updates is recorded separately from a general inquiry.

How submissions are used

Form entries are stored in this website’s WordPress database so authorized administrators can review inquiries, organize requests, and maintain contact preferences. Entries include the form type, submission time, and the page where the form was submitted. Administrators can filter, export, or delete entries as part of managing the information received.

The website does not automatically send form information to an external marketing platform. Newsletter registration records contact and topic preferences; newsletter delivery is not automated by this website. A successful form submission confirms that the entry was recorded. It does not confirm an appointment, establish a client relationship, or create an agreement to provide services.

Cookies, hosting, and technical information

The website does not embed third-party advertising, analytics, or social tracking scripts. WordPress uses cookies for administrator login and may use other functional cookies. The hosting platform and web server may process ordinary request information, including IP addresses and browser details, to serve the site and maintain logs.

Access and retention

Access to stored submissions is restricted to site administrators. Entries remain available until an administrator deletes them. Hosting or database backups may retain copies according to the site operator’s backup arrangements. This website does not apply an automatic deletion schedule to active form entries.

Correcting or removing information

You may request a correction or removal through the contact form. Identify the email address used in the original submission and its approximate date so the relevant entry can be located. Please do not include additional sensitive information in your request.

Information to keep private

Please do not submit passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information, confidential strategy, client matters, or information about children through these forms. Initial inquiries should contain only a brief, non-confidential overview of the topic you wish to discuss.
